The partying was bad and it's a big reason why things went south so quickly last year. Looking forward to this new, fast and improved team. Price will rebound from his yo-yo season for the better. Now we need to get a captain in here to replace the heart that Saku brought. It's going to be hard by a guy like Beauchmin would be nice.Laythnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6334132588526236912.post-79558675041491326562009-07-03T15:35:38.335-07:002009-07-03T15:35:38.335-07:00Nice blog, but I have to disagree with you on Koiv...Nice blog, but I have to disagree with you on Koivu. Any organization that has no place for a Saku Koivu is suspect, IMO. Letting him go as part of the housecleaning is akin to blaming him for the Habs' Dark Ages, and that's just plain wrong.Sonianoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6334132588526236912.post-34948994718223449052009-07-03T14:52:41.398-07:002009-07-03T14:52:41.398-07:00Brilliant comments, Conor. He filled the role and honored the tradition as well as anyone before him. The media prodding of him, led by the nasty "nationalist fanatics" that push everyone's buttons, was a circus for the petty and small minded. Is it any wonder we have a hard time attracting some players to MTL.Tom Burkenoreply@blogger.com
